I SURVIVED.

Hi. I'm back from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo!
The trip was a.w.e.s.o.m.e.
Okay, so initially I wasn't really looking forward to it.
I remember when my mom first said, "We signed up for the KK trip!"
I was like... whaaaaaaat... can I not go?
Hahaha. But I am so grateful that God allowed me to go on this trip and meet such wonderful people and enjoy a wonderful wonderful time with them.
This trip was really meaningful to me and I've learned to appreciate and love everyone who went.
So many things happened.
I wish we could have more trips like this.
No doubt, there were little tiffs here and there, and I've come to find out alot of my shortcomings.
Like the night at base camp.
Mi Siew was sharing a bed with Min Young, and I was in the same dorm.
And Min Young was whining almost throughout the night.
And I was like, Hello? I'm supposed to sleep at 8 and wake up at 1:45 AM to climb to summit, and here you are making so much noise that it's almost 11 and I'm still not asleep?!
It wasn't until the next morning that I realised that Mi Siew was actually sleeping right next to her whiny sister, and she was feeling really sick.
So yup. Very pei fu Mi Siew :)

And anyways! Here are a few pictures of more very important people in my life.
Yesterday was Wei Lyn's birthday. So included in these pictures are a few of her that I really like.
And as some of you might notice, I edited the pictures!
Editing photographs is so addictive.

So this is Elena Tan Ren Qi at Pasir Ris Park. We went there with Vera during one of the bad hazy periods and Elena came up with this grand idea of fishing with some materials she found - the stick and string she's holding in this picture.

And this is Claudia and Wei Lyn at the Botanical Gardens during a Bright Lights outing!

This is the only child I can ever really call my mei mei.

This is one of my favourite pictures ever :)
Can you spot Yuan? He's standing next to Ren.

Oh and if some of you notice, I haven't posted a picture of Samantha.
That does not not not mean that she's not important to me.
The best is yet to come :DDDDDDDDD

Okay so, I keep unplugging the internet.

(beware of random post.)
Dumb, dumb me.
I keep trying to shift the laptop, and in the process I pull out the internet wire. Sigh. The com doesn't like me anymore :(
But anyways!!! I guess I'm supposed to type a really long post this time, so I'll try.
Yesterday I was in a rambling mood, but I didn't have time to blog.
Today, I'm in a not-so-rambling mood, and I have the time.
Sigh.
This is lame.
How can a cool person like me be typing such lame things?
Dandy dandy.
I don't know who's typing all this nonsense.
Oh so I just found a drop of water on my scroller thingy...
And I tried to wipe it off.
I feel really stupid today.
Hahahahahahahahaha.
Let me tell you about Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
(I'm bored to tears. Almost literally.)
I should be doing something productive, something useful, something like studying! But I'm not. And I don't feel like doing anything. But I'm bored. How can it be?
Okay okay, so, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia!
Monday to Saturday.
Monday - We'll be reaching at night I thinks, and so we'll just sleep there.
Tuesday - Some of them are going island hopping, but I'm not and neither are the Tans. Oh I better tell Song Jia I'm not going. Some kind soul please remind me!
Talking to myself.
So anyways, on tuesday, I'm guessing I'll just be roaming around... doing random stuff...
Wednesday - We climb from Timpohon Gate to basecamp! That'll take us about 5 to 6 hours, if I remember correctly. I can't imagine going up and up and up for soooooo many hours. We'll reach base camp around 6pm, and stay overnight there. We have to sleep really early because...
Thursday, 3 or 4am - We will be rudely awakened (!!!) by I don't know who and we ascend to the summit! It takes about 2 to 3 hours from base camp to summit. And after staying at summit for abut half an hour, we begin our descent, all the way down, down, down. Down to the gate. I think we'll be at a different gate though. Oh and we're taking the cool way down.
We're gonna WALK THE TORQ.
See www.mountaintorq.com if you're a kaypoh. :)
They say the last climber might even reach the gate at 8 pm. BLEH. So we're walking from 4 am in the morning till evening? Bleh!!! How are we going to survive?
We'll see. :)
I'm excited. :)
And we'll be split into groups. I think there are 6 groups. I'm in group #3. My group's leader is my dad, and members are Uncle Daniel Kwek, Aunty Peng Leng, Joanna Xue, Johanna Lee, and Joanna Tang. Joanna, Joanna, Johanna. Jo, Jo, Joh!
Cool.
Daniel's in group #2 with Elias, Theo, Bernice, Uncle Nam Tuck and Bak Wei I think. My mom's in the last group, though I think she could've made it to 3rd or 4th group. But she promised to take care of Aunty Mi Hyun, so :) And Elena's in group 4 with Emelyn and I don't know who else.
Friday! - We'll be going whitewater rafting. But they say it's not gonna be very exciting. Sigh. I like exciting things. But anyway! :) I don't know what else we'll be doing on Friday. Recuperating from wednesday's and thursday's exhaustion, I'm supposing. Maybe we'll get to do some shopping. Probably. :)
Saturday we fly back home. Yay :)
And it's all the training's fault that I feel soft and jellyfishy now. Cause, once you start training rigorously, and then you stop for a few days, you start getting all those fats. And I've been eating more ever since starting training. Sighohwells.
I'majellyfish.
I don't want to be a jellyfish!!!
Hee. Hello there everybody.
My grade 5 theory exam's over, and I wonder when I will get my results? Hmm.

to a friend who is leaving tomorrow

Numbers 6:24-26
"The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."

It is beyond my understanding as to how they reach the high A flat without screeching.
